Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Fabubath, we strive to provide a reliable and convenient delivery experience for our customers. Because bathroom vanities, countertops, and other large bathroom products often require specialized freight transportation, we encourage you to review the following shipping and delivery information before placing your order.
1. Shipping Coverage
Fabubath offers FREE standard shipping throughout California on eligible online orders.
At this time, our online store accepts orders for delivery to California addresses only. We do not currently offer online checkout for deliveries outside California.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or locations that cannot reasonably accommodate the required delivery method.
Customers outside California may contact Fabubath to inquire about possible special shipping arrangements. Any such arrangements must be confirmed separately by Fabubath before an order is placed.
2. Free Standard Shipping
Fabubath provides FREE standard shipping within California, with no minimum purchase requirement.
Depending on the product's size, weight, packaging, and fulfillment location, orders may be delivered by a parcel carrier or a specialized freight/LTL carrier.
For large bathroom vanities and other palletized products, standard shipping includes:
-
Curbside freight delivery.
-
Liftgate unloading.
-
One standard delivery attempt.
-
Carrier coordination of the delivery appointment when applicable.
Services Not Included
Free standard shipping does not include:
-
Inside-home delivery.
-
Room-of-choice delivery.
-
Carrying products into garages, buildings, homes, bathrooms, or upstairs.
-
Unpacking or uncrating merchandise.
-
Assembly or installation.
-
Plumbing connections.
-
Removal of old furniture or fixtures.
-
Removal or disposal of shipping materials.
-
Customer-requested storage or special handling.
-
Return freight for voluntary returns.
Additional carrier services may be available in certain circumstances. Any optional services and associated charges must be explained and agreed upon before they are arranged.
3. Processing & Delivery Times
Our estimated delivery timeframe is 7–14 calendar days from the date an order is placed.
This estimate includes typical order processing, supplier fulfillment, and transportation time.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
-
Product availability.
-
Manufacturer or supplier processing.
-
Warehouse location.
-
Delivery destination.
-
Freight carrier scheduling.
-
Weather and transportation conditions.
-
Holidays or unforeseen disruptions.
Some products may arrive sooner, while backordered, custom-made, or special-order products may require additional time.
The 7–14-calendar-day timeframe is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date.
If an order is expected to experience a significant delay, Fabubath will communicate updated information and the options available to the customer, including any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.
Important Installation Recommendation
We strongly recommend that customers do not schedule installers, plumbers, contractors, demolition, or other time-sensitive renovation work until the products have arrived, been fully inspected, and been confirmed complete and in acceptable condition.
Fabubath is not responsible for independently arranged installation scheduling costs caused by ordinary estimated delivery-date variations, except where otherwise required by law.
4. Freight & Curbside Delivery
Bathroom vanities, large mirrors, linen cabinets, countertops, and other oversized products may be shipped on wooden pallets through specialized freight carriers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, large-item freight delivery is curbside delivery with liftgate unloading included.
The freight carrier will generally lower the shipment from the truck to the curbside, driveway entrance, or another safe and reasonably accessible ground-level location determined by the carrier.
The driver is not responsible for moving the merchandise into the customer's home, garage, apartment building, bathroom, upstairs, or final installation area.
Customer Responsibility
Customers should arrange appropriate assistance in advance to move heavy merchandise from the curbside delivery location into a secure indoor area.
Large bathroom vanities and stone countertops can be extremely heavy and may require multiple people or appropriate moving equipment.
Please do not attempt to lift or move heavy products without adequate assistance.
5. Delivery Appointments
Freight carriers will generally contact customers using the telephone number provided at checkout to arrange a delivery appointment or delivery window.
Please ensure that the contact information provided with your order is accurate and that you respond promptly to carrier communications.
An adult aged 18 or older should be available to receive, inspect, and sign for freight shipments when a signature is required.
Missed Delivery Appointments
If a customer misses a confirmed delivery appointment or cannot accept delivery because of circumstances within the customer's control, the carrier may assess additional charges for:
-
Redelivery.
-
Storage.
-
Repeated delivery attempts.
-
Customer-requested schedule changes.
-
Address corrections.
-
Other additional carrier services.
Where additional customer-requested services are necessary, Fabubath will explain the available options and obtain approval for associated charges before arranging them.
6. Delivery Access Requirements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and notifying Fabubath of any special access restrictions before shipment.
These may include:
-
Gated communities requiring access codes.
-
Narrow streets or restricted roads.
-
Steep or inaccessible driveways.
-
Apartment or condominium delivery restrictions.
-
Construction zones or limited loading areas.
-
Locations that cannot safely accommodate a freight truck.
If the carrier cannot safely access the requested delivery location, Fabubath will work with the customer and carrier to identify a practical alternative.
Alternative arrangements may include delivery to a nearby accessible curbside location or another mutually agreed delivery point.
Any additional optional services or charges will be discussed and require customer approval before being arranged.
If a suitable arrangement cannot be made, Fabubath will review the available delivery, cancellation, and refund options in accordance with its published policies and applicable law.
7. IMPORTANT: Inspect Your Shipment Upon Delivery
Customers should carefully inspect the shipment upon arrival and before signing the carrier's delivery receipt or Bill of Lading, whenever safe and practical.
Examine the pallet, cardboard cartons, protective wrapping, and visible product surfaces for signs of damage.
Minor Packaging Damage — Generally Accept and Document
Examples of minor packaging damage include:
-
Small dents or creases in outer cardboard.
-
Superficial scratches or scuffs on packaging.
-
Small tears in protective wrapping that do not appear to affect the product.
-
Slightly bent cardboard corners without evidence of product damage.
If the damage appears limited to the packaging and there are no signs of significant product damage:
-
Take clear photographs of the affected areas.
-
Note the visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
-
Generally accept the shipment.
-
Inspect all contents as soon as possible after delivery.
Minor packaging damage does not necessarily mean the product itself is damaged.
Major Shipping Damage — Contact Fabubath Immediately
Examples of major shipping damage include:
-
Visibly cracked, chipped, or broken countertops or sinks.
-
Severely crushed shipping cartons.
-
Broken or collapsed wooden pallets that may have compromised the merchandise.
-
Deep punctures extending through packaging toward the product.
-
Visibly cracked cabinets, broken doors, or damaged structural components.
-
Evidence that the shipment was dropped, overturned, or severely mishandled.
If significant product damage is visible or strongly suspected:
-
Photograph the complete shipment and damaged areas.
-
Contact Fabubath immediately for guidance whenever possible.
-
Generally refuse delivery if the product appears severely damaged, unless Fabubath provides different instructions.
-
If delivery is refused because of damage, ask the carrier to record the shipment's condition and reason for refusal on the delivery documentation.
-
Retain photographs and copies of any relevant carrier paperwork.
When Damage Is Uncertain
If you are unsure whether the damage is minor or major, photograph the shipment, describe any visible concerns on the delivery receipt, and contact Fabubath for guidance whenever possible.
Do not sign a statement confirming that the product is undamaged if you have not had a reasonable opportunity to inspect it.
Please remember that concealed damage can exist even when the exterior packaging appears undamaged.
8. IMPORTANT: Inspect All Components Within 48 Hours
Please unpack and thoroughly inspect your entire order as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after delivery.
Carefully examine all included components:
-
Vanity cabinet and frame.
-
Cabinet doors, drawers, and hinges.
-
Countertop and backsplash, when included.
-
Sink or sinks.
-
Hardware and accessories.
-
Any additional components included with your purchase.
If Damage or Missing Items Are Discovered
Please take clear photographs immediately and contact Fabubath, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Email sales@fabubath.com and include:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the damage or missing components.
-
Clear photographs showing the affected areas from multiple angles.
-
Photographs of the entire product.
-
Photographs of the original packaging and protective materials.
-
Photographs of the wooden shipping pallet.
-
Photographs of shipping labels.
-
A copy or photograph of the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading, if available.
The 48-hour reporting period is important because freight carriers and manufacturers may have strict deadlines for damage claims.
Reports submitted after 48 hours will still be reviewed individually. This reporting request does not eliminate any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection or warranty laws.
9. IMPORTANT: Preserve All Original Packaging and the Wooden Pallet
DO NOT DISCARD OR UNNECESSARILY DESTROY THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING OR SHIPPING PALLET.
Carefully unpack your shipment without unnecessarily ripping, tearing, cutting, or damaging the original protective materials.
Preserve:
-
Original cardboard boxes and cartons.
-
Protective foam and padding.
-
Corner protectors.
-
Plastic wrapping and protective coverings.
-
Internal dividers and other protective materials.
-
Shipping labels and relevant packaging identification.
-
The original wooden shipping pallet.
Keep these materials intact and reusable whenever possible.
The original packaging and wooden pallet may be required for:
-
Freight damage inspections.
-
Manufacturer or carrier claims.
-
Return freight shipments.
-
Replacement product arrangements.
-
Product collection or return authorization procedures.
Do not discard the packaging or pallet until your entire order has been inspected and Fabubath has confirmed these materials are no longer needed.
If damage is discovered, preserve all packaging and the pallet until Fabubath provides further instructions.
For voluntary returns, the original packaging and appropriate palletized shipping arrangements are required under our separate Return & Refund Policy, subject to applicable law.
10. Do Not Install Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect all products thoroughly before beginning installation.
If a product appears damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what was ordered, please contact Fabubath before proceeding.
Do not install, assemble, drill, modify, repair, connect plumbing to, or attach countertops to a product after discovering a visible issue without first contacting Fabubath for guidance.
Installation or modification after an apparent problem has been discovered may complicate damage investigations and affect available return or warranty remedies, subject to applicable law.
Damage Resolution
Fabubath will review reported issues and coordinate with the appropriate supplier, manufacturer, or freight carrier.
Depending on the circumstances, available resolutions may include:
-
Replacement parts.
-
Repair or correction.
-
Replacement of an affected component.
-
Replacement of the complete product.
-
A refund or another applicable remedy.
The standard voluntary-return restocking fee does not apply to verified qualifying defects, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors attributable to Fabubath.
Fabubath will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs associated with an approved claim involving these issues.
11. Refused Deliveries
Please do not refuse a shipment solely because you changed your mind, ordered an incorrect size, measured incorrectly, or no longer need the product.
A shipment refused for customer-preference reasons, rather than documented qualifying shipping damage, may be treated as a voluntary return under our Return & Refund Policy.
Eligible voluntary returns are subject to the disclosed 20% restocking fee and customer-paid return freight.
Any additional optional carrier services or charges must be disclosed and agreed upon before being arranged.
These provisions do not apply to justified refusals of severely damaged freight or circumstances where customers are entitled to other remedies under applicable law.
12. Shipping Address Changes
Please review your shipping address carefully before completing checkout.
If you need to correct or change the shipping address, contact Fabubath immediately at sales@fabubath.com or (619) 538-5794.
Address changes requested before shipment may be possible, depending on the status of the order.
Once an order enters fulfillment or has been transferred to a carrier, address changes may be restricted or unavailable.
Customer-requested rerouting, storage, address corrections, or additional transportation services may involve carrier charges.
Any optional charges will be explained and agreed upon before arrangements are made.
13. Local Pickup
Local pickup is not currently offered as a standard online checkout option.
In certain circumstances, Fabubath may arrange pickup separately for eligible products, subject to product availability, fulfillment location, and prior confirmation.
Customers must obtain written confirmation that their order is ready for pickup before visiting the Fabubath showroom or a supplier warehouse.
Please do not travel to collect an online order without receiving pickup instructions from Fabubath.
14. Returns & Refunds
Free standard shipping on an original purchase does not mean that return shipping is free.
Voluntary returns are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy, which currently provides:
-
A 14-calendar-day return request window for eligible merchandise.
-
A 20% restocking fee on approved voluntary returns.
-
Customer-paid return freight.
-
Original packaging and pallet requirements.
-
Prior return authorization.
-
No direct exchanges.
The standard change-of-mind restocking fee does not apply to verified qualifying defects, shipping damage, or incorrect products attributable to Fabubath.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
Please review that policy before placing an order.
